An interactive Family Literacy program for 3-5 years of age running weekly from February to June at the ESFRA Centre. Participation between parents/caregivers and child(ren) is required. This Program combines some Free Play, Songs, Stories and Homework each week.

The Full Steam Ahead program is an interactive drop-in experience designed for children aged 5 to 12 years old. This engaging program seamlessly combines imagination with diverse STEAM-based LEGO activities that vary each week. A ticket is required for each weekly session

This 8-week Program is for child(ren) between the ages of 1-3 years. It is a music and movement program for you and your child to have fun while mastering new skills and concepts. Adult participation is required.

Wee Bears(Ages 1-3): Wee Bears is an Early Learning Parent/Caregiver and Child Interactive program for children aged 1-3 years, designed to enhance the parent-child connection through age-appropriate activities. Our signature program has provided quality early learning opportunities for families on the Eastern Shore since January 2000. Sessions include free play, snack, craft, circle time, stories and songs.

Breakfast Stories is a FREE community engagement event for families with children/youth (ages 0-18). Participants will enjoy breakfast/brunch, listen to culturally based stories shared by Acadian and Mi’kmaq storytellers, and receive a $50 Scholastic book bag per family, chosen through ESFRA’s Scholastic account.

Kids 'N Elders is an inter-generational fun & social weekly playgroup. Parents/caregivers and children, ages 0-5 years, join senior residents, from the local Birches Home for Special Care, at their site. Sessions include free play, snack, craft, circle time, stories and songs.

Are you ready to get MESSY? Join us for our unique toddler sensory play program, designed exclusively for little ones aged 1-3 years old and their parent/caregivers. *There are no snacks, circle time or stories in this program.
